The Open Learning Centre is always looking out for interesting businesses that offer complimentary products and services to our own; especially our range of Libertus packaged business solutions.

We have introduced a simple referral scheme to offer tangible benefits to any business (or individual for that matter) that wants to take part in increasing the spread and growth of Free & Open Source Software.

In return for every referral you provide to us that results in a Libertus sale, we will either pay you £100 or provide you with an equal value of credit to be used against any products or services you buy from us.

How much do I get for each sale?

£100

When do I get paid?

Basically as soon as we do. Once your customer has paid the invoice for their Libertus we will transfer the funds to your bank account or record the credit against your details.

How do I get paid?

Electronic transfer into your bank account.

What if I don't want to receive cash?

That's fine. We will credit your account to the value of £100 for each sale as above. You may use this credit balance towards the purchase of your own Libertus or for consulting, training and/or support services from us.

Does my credit last for ever?

Unfortunately no. If you decide to take credit rather than a cash payment, the credit will be available for a period of 12 months from when the Libertus invoice is paid.

How many referrals can I make?

As many as you like.

What support is there for me?

This is a referral scheme rather than a reseller programme so your support needs should be quite low. We would, as part of the scheme, expect to have met with you at least once and demonstrated the Libertus so you are familiar with it and can recognise potential opportunities. In addition, we offer the following:

• a stock of product brochures that you can re-order through our portal
• training on how to identify potential Libertus opportunities
• if you would prefer to present Libertus to your customers, we can provide you with a presentation for this purpose

What support is there for my customers?

As well as the day's initial training that is included as part of the Libertus package, we also offer additional chargeable services such as:

• an automated, nightly off-site backup of the Libertus system
• a rapid hardware replacement service
• per-incident based support services

The Open Learning Centre may amend or vary these conditions from time to time. A minimum of 30 days notice will be given to all scheme participants prior to any significant alterations.
