OpenOffice.org (OOo) produce a Free and Open Source suite of office applications which are platform agnostic and run on Linux, Mac (shortly), Solaris and Windows platforms. The applications include a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation manager and database. As well as using the open standard ODF (Open Document Format) the applications have a very high degree of compatibility with Microsoft's proprietary Office applications. We use OOo in our business.
